week2 - Creativity :D

~Creative~
What is creative??? It's think out side of the box means that it's a creative thinking??? And my answer for this question is....

is....

"I don't know" hahahahaha :p
On my own opinion, something that you will never know~ thats creative XD
haha, all i can define about creative is that it's something unique. Creativity is an ability to create or invent something new, a new idea, new concept, or a new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts.

I'm a student in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, and my friend of other faculty love to said this: "you are from FCM, come on come on, any better creative idea for this or that??"
Haha, so here is a question, isn't only artist and designer can be creative??
a quote from Thomas Edison
"creativity is an attitude, combine with effort; 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration"

I'm so agree with him, creativity is in everyone~ It's belong to everyone, and not just a domain to artist or designer.

So, isn't being creative is hard??? Yes! it's!!
haha, most of the time, we will complaining about something like "my mind is blank, the idea still not coming to me, there is no new ideas~". I think that this is the time that we should do more research and brainstorming :D because, like what that had been written in the lecture slide,
"Most great ideas are a combination of old concepts presented in a fresh, new package that provides us with a sense of novelty".
i still remember that there is a lecture in my foundation year, he used to said that, "a bad designer copy others idea, but a good designer steal others idea" :D

And the one last thing about creative, and it's also the most important thing about creative is
had no fear of making mistake!! Being creative is just about to allowing your self to make mistake:D
a quote from De Bono:
“It is possible to show a greatly increased output of ideas. But unless there is a willingness to try these ideas, you cannot measure their effect. The more powerful an idea, the less the willingness there is to try it out."
